On Tuesday we learned about the work of the RNLI.
John, a volunteer for the organisation, showed us a selection of clips and slides to illustrate the work that the members of a lifeboat crew do to keep people safe at sea. He also shared with us his memories of his own father who was himself a lifeboat man.
The children drew some beautiful pictures which we have sent to John to thank him.
Your child will have brought home today the photographs of their favourite toy you so kindly sent in. These photos really helped to inspire the children with ideas for their ‘Lost Toy’ stories which you will be able to read in their books on Parent’s Evening.
Your child may also have with them the colourful pictures they painted on Transfer Day back in July. Please check book bags if they forget to show you!
