What a fabulous range of Key Skills project work we received!
It was really evident how much time and effort went into all the work- and the presentation was eye catching and interesting.
Indeed a big thank you for the support you have given your children with all their Key Skills work this term.
It has really helped the children with their class work and allowed them to consolidate their skills.
Next term there will be a few changes to Key Skills.
We will be requesting that work is brought into school on Thursdays and the children will all have a new book.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!
I really hope all the children will be over their bugs so they can have a lovely rest and of course great fun!
Year 2 will be having a party lunch on the last day of term. ( just to confirm, there are no hot lunches that day)
A food list will be placed on the classroom door for you to sign by a food if you are able to contribute to the year 2 buffet.
Costumes for the key stage one performance need to be brought in on Monday in a named carrier bag please.
If you need any help with the costume, please ask any member of the Year 2 team.
Thanks for all your continued support at a busy time of the year.
First of all, thank you for your kind donations for the RNLI.
We have raised a fabulous £60 for the charity from our ” Welly Walk”
This is enough to buy a crew member a new pair of wellingtons and a pair of gloves .
The children really enjoyed sharing their work with you last week and I’ m sure you’ll agree that the effort they put into their writing, pictures and performances was excellent. Well done children!
Just a reminder that Year 2 invite you to attend their end of unit assembly tomorrow at 2.15.
The assembly will be followed by time in the classroom so that the children can share some of their work with you .
The children will also need to bring wellies ( or sturdy shoes) in a named bag in the morning as we will be going on a ” Welly Walk” to try and raise a small amount of money for the RNLI.
The photos are a sneak peak at some of the work you will see tomorrow – not the finished pieces but the ” under construction” stage!
